ORC International has an exciting opportunity to join their Princeton office as an Associate within the CARAVAN Omnibus Services team. In this entry-level position you will have the opportunity to contribute by working with the team on quantitative research projects in a fast paced multi-client environment. Tasks may involve working on specific projects from project design through delivery or they may involve assisting clients with one or more components of a larger research initiative. In addition, this role will be part of our ORC Development Program (ORCID). You’ll work closely with our experts for first-hand exposure to the latest business trends, research technologies and more! This challenging program is designed to hone your research, communication and client-development skills, as you work side-by-side with many of today’s biggest brands. ORCID will school you in the art of converting data into valuable insights. You’ll learn to tackle complex client needs with confidence, professionalism, and fluidity, and build a career in this fascinating industry.
Put Your Skills to the Test
In addition to working on all projects on an as-needed basis, once trained the associate will be assigned overall operational responsibility for one or more of the regularly scheduled CARAVAN survey offerings under the guidance of a more senior researcher. Operational responsibility requires ensuring that various project related tasks be performed either by oneself or other members of the team.
-Work with client and internal team to maintain schedule; ensuring on-time, quality assured delivery
-Answer client questions/needs
-Review, edit and format draft questionnaires
-Test survey programming
-Coordinate project needs with internal and external vendors
-Generate data processing specifications for tabulation department
-Check tabulations for completeness and accuracy
-Work with client and team to prepare appropriate project deliverables and analysis
-Monitor omnibus survey sampling and fielding to help ensure consistent methodology
-In the case of custom projects, participate in establishing overall project design, questionnaires, data output specifications, analyses and reporting
