The Role

The candidate will be based within the Financial Services Division. These would include continuous Customer Loyalty programmes (largely online), plus ad hoc product development and optimisation, and pricing studies. They will managing their own portfolio of projects and clients, and will be the day to day client contact on these projects. They will be responsible for drafting research materials and reports, and will work with internal departments and external sub-contractors to ensure the timely delivery of high quality fieldwork and data processing. They may also be required to conduct depth interviews by phone or in person, and there is likely to be some opportunity for focus group moderation.

 

They will be leading on reporting and insight on their own projects and will be required to support others in the division analysing data and adding insight to projects. They will be required to write and cost proposals for small to medium projects and provide support to a Research Director on large bids.

Key Tasks

  • Project management
  • Qualitative and Quantitative data analysis including undertaking depth interviews and focus groups
  • Lead and manage smaller ad-hoc projects and larger continuous tracking programmes
  • Presentation and report preparation
  • Preparing and delivering presentations to external clients
  • Help with proposal writing and preparing quotes for clients
  • Liaison / account management with external clients
  • Assist with design of research methodologies and proposals

 

Preferred Background

  • Agency background essential (min 2 year experience), ideally within a full service agency.
  • Quantitative background is essential – including online and telephone.
  • Qualitative experience desirable
  • Exposure to Financial Service research preferable

 

Key Skills / Qualifications Required

  • At least 3 years experience in research either agency or client side.
  • Very strong analytical and communication skills. Familiarity with providing specs for, and analysing, large datasets.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Adaptability and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Good numeracy skills. Eye for detail essential..
