Role

ORC International has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Vice President, located in our Boston, MA office. The Senior Vice President is expected to be a key strategic leader and is responsible for scalable and sustainable account growth for existing and new clients across the Financial Services, Credit, Commerical Insurance, and/or Banking sectors.    

Responsibilities

  

  • Business Development - Scope and budget potential engagements for current and potential clients
  • Engagement Execution - Manage Client Solutions teams to complete engagements within the agreed-upon scope and budget
  • Design and Deliverable Creation - Oversee the analysis and delivery of insights to clients to ensure that all goals and facets of their engagements are met
  • Client Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with current clients
  • Team Management and Training – Contribute to the training and development of junior staff
  • Internal Initiatives and Collaboration - Participate in internal ORC collaboration initiatives
  • Thought Leadership Creation - Create thought leadership content related to key topics

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, Master’s degree preferred
  • Prefer Business, Marketing or Marketing Research degrees
  • 7-12 years of sales development/management experience in Financial Services, Credit, Banking, and/or Commercial Insurance sector(s)
  • Strong business development skills (i.e., the ability to diagnose client needs, match them to ORC solutions, and articulate ORC’s value)
  • Strong research skills
  • Business consulting expertise
  • Effective people management
  • Communication skills
  • Leadership skills
  • Client management skills, including presentation and meeting management
  • Problem resolution skills
  • Financial, P&L (profit and loss) skills
  • Understanding of the full suite of ORC’s offerings
  • Flexibility to travel, including over night stays
