Role

The Inside Sales Associate supports business development efforts by securing new business opportunities and helping to expand existing clients for ORC International. This involves identifying appropriate and qualified prospects, securing introductory /or follow-up meetings and proactively working with business development and marketing in lead generation development.  The right Inside Sales Associate will secure a minimum of 20 prospect appointments per month. Work closely with business development team members to effectively set appointments customers, averaging at least 65 calls per day.

Responsibilities

  • Manage existing and grow new business by partnering with Client Solutions executives, Research Directors, and Business Development to deliver best-in-class proposals
  • Strategically keep on track with  research trends and competitive offereings: People/Workforce Analytics, predictive modeling, et cetera.

  • Interact with prospective ORC customers of all sizes and industry types via e-mail and phone to understand the business challenges these clients are seeking to solve, answer basic ORC product / service questions, identify the time frame and primary decision maker for the purchase, and develop rapport with clients before forwarding the created opportunities to the Sales team.

  • Proactively research and identify new business opportunities through various contact list management tools for lead generation efforts such as: cold call outreach, webinars, and direct marketing campaigns.

  • Support and Collaborate with Business Development team to develop content for direct marketing campaigns to business targets.

  • Consistently and effectively communicating with team members and sales team, as well as following up with prospects.

  • Responsible for data entry and data integrity of all lead generation activities in the customer management system and assign a nurture path and follow-up strategy

  • Maintain knowledge of new products and initiatives; as well as industry and business.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree
  • 1-3 Years Business Experience
  • Prefer minimum one (1) year, prior business-to-business (B2B) selling experience
  • Adept at using CRM and online database search tools
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Goal-oriented
  • Self-starter
  • Effective at building relationships with prospects
  • Articulate and confident presentation skills
  • Ability to adapt/shift to evolving business landscape/ fast paced environment
  • Ability to communicate with a wide-range of internal and external stakeholders and departments; handle objections.

  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills
