Reporting to the Senior Vice President, the Business Development Representative drives new business development and account management for Cassandra (www.cassandra.co). We are looking for a self-starter, results oriented and strategically-focused business developer with a desire to be a part of a team working with leading global brands and drive future-forward thinking ideas.   • Drive business and achieve sales goals
  • Grows client base by developing and executing a well-conceived sales process
  • Build client relationships, farm and grow accounts by evangelizing and building on existing client relationships
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest Cassandra Report insights, and represent Cassandra to clients and prospects
  • Lead presentations to clients and prospects in meetings and at events
  • Maintain strong client relationships and drive renewals/retention/contract management
  • Support the SVP in achieving financial objectives by preparing an annual calendar, setting goals, tracking effectiveness, and optimizing over time




  • Bachelor’s degree
  • One to three years’ experience in business-to-business or outbound direct sales.
  • Strong prospecting, lead development, needs assessment, negotiating, and closing skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong mutually beneficial client relationships
  • Interest in brand strategy, marketing, generational insights, and cultural trends
  • Adept at using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as using CRM and online database tools
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, time management and follow-through skills
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Goal oriented; self-starter
  • Articulate and confident presentation skills
  • Ability to adapt/ shift to evolving business landscape/ fast paced environment
  • Ability to communicate with a wide-range of internal and external stakeholders and departments; handle objections.
